Before you begin your VR mission, it is a good idea to prepare your VR space so you can embark on a safe and comfortable journey.
You obviously can’t see your surroundings when wearing VR glasses. Ensure there is at least 7 feet between you and any breakable things. Move your furniture around so you don’t bump into anything. Put away fragile belongings. Don’t forget to look above you. Lamps can really hurt when you’re trying to whack flying dragons.
Essentials
Invest in a swivel chair with wheels and you are free to roll along; the perfect chair for VR immersion. A beanbag chair is great for those moments when you want to lie down and relax when exhaustion kicks in after chasing off all those furious dragons. A beanbag is also a great place to wait for your next turn.

Virtual reality can sometimes make you feel quite sick. Be sure to have a rest every quarter of an hour. It is important to stay hydrated. A water bottle with a straw is very practical during your mission. When you remove your headset, you don’t want to be blinded by bright lights. Turn the lights on low for a smooth transition. It doesn’t take long to prep your room so you can indulge in a pleasant VR experience.
